ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lisa Verbakel is a self-taught artist who has been painting for several years working with acrylics from her home studio in London, Ontario and drawing inspiration from photography of nature and travels. She seeks to evoke a sense of passage and movement with distinct brushstrokes and energetic use of vivid colours.
Lisa dabbled in painting and art for many years and studied Fashion Design at Fanshawe College where her passion for art and bold colours began. She volunteers regularly at the Possibility in Paint Collaborative Art Studio in London and her work can be found at ArtWithPanache Gallery. Follow Lisa on Instagram.
