Karen Caughlin's Gallery

 

Karen Caughlin teaches art to adults and children in her studio throughout the year. Her love and enthusiasm for art combined with the sensitivity to the needs of the students inspires them to explore the possibilities in their own art. 

Karen sells her paintings and accepts commissions. 

Caughlin’s works of Art hang in corporate offices and private collections in Canada and as far away as Japan. 

Statement: 
“I am inspired by an inner excitement and motivation that compelling subjects can evoke. My subject matter varies from micro to macro views of the world around me. Nature, people, and architecture figure predominantly. 

In my works, I use colour and/or texture to convey a certain mood or feeling about the subject matter.  My objective is to show the beauty in the world that is often dismissed.”
