Carole Marson's Gallery

My pieces are mostly 8”x 10” on 100%, 300 gsm paper. I paint on all brands of paper and have recently discovered a hand made product from India which is quite rough and produces interesting results. 

I started watercolour painting in 2022 after dabbling in 5 x 7 pencil drawings. My husband and son-in-law encouraged me to go bigger and add colour. I have taken inspiration from Paul Clark, Oliver Pyle and Andy Evansen.

I love painting landscapes but have recently been inspired to paint wildlife by photographer Michael Hack in Campbell River, BC.
I absolutely love my craft and look forward to expanding my horizons with LAA.
